Brian O'Hearn MBA BSN CEN has a range of experience in healthcare management and nursing leadership roles. Brian currently holds the position of Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer at Androscoggin Valley Hospital since 2015. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer at Samaritan Medical Center from 2012 to 2015. Before that, they were the Director of Emergency Services at Rhode Island Hospital from 2010 to 2012. Brian also held the position of Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer at Saints Medical Center from 2007 to 2010. In addition, they served as Sr. Vice President at St. James Mercy Hospital from 2005 to 2006 and as Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer at Bon Secours Health System from 2000 to 2005.

Brian O'Hearn has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General, which they obtained from Binghamton University from 1998 to 2000. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Binghamton University from 1984 to 1986. In addition to their degrees, they have obtained various certifications including PICC Line Certification in 2017, Board Certification in Emergency Nursing from Providence RI in April 2012, and Oncology Nurse Certification from Binghamton NY in March 2004.
