Caitlin Callahan has a diverse work experience spanning from 2009 to the present. Caitlin started their career as a Victims' Advocate and Shelter Manager at My Sisters' Place, a nonprofit agency supporting victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Later, they became a Community Coordinator and Victims' Advocate, where they developed outreach strategies, coordinated community engagement events, and provided crisis line support.

In 2012, Caitlin joined the Oregon Department of Human Services as a Child Protective Services Worker, focusing on child safety through family planning and acting as a liaison for domestic violence cases. Caitlin then transitioned to a Child Welfare Permanency Worker role, managing foster care cases and seeking permanency for children through reunification or adoption.

Caitlin worked as an Early Intervention Therapist and an ABA Therapist at A is for Apple, Inc., providing therapy to children on the autism spectrum in various settings. Their responsibilities included building rapport with families, structuring therapy sessions, collecting data, and collaborating with team members.

Caitlin also worked as a Service Coordinator - Early Start at San Andreas Regional Center, providing support to children with developmental disabilities. At The Creekside School, Caitlin served as a Teaching Assistant, providing learning support to high school and transitioning students on the autism spectrum.

Caitlin currently works as a Lead Tutor at Andson, where they offer after-school tutoring and homework help to students in various subjects. Caitlin primarily focuses on math and language assistance for primary and middle school students, regularly submitting reports to communicate site needs and employee performance.

Throughout their career, Caitlin has consistently demonstrated a student-centered approach, promoting learning, communication, and positive social engagement for their clients.

Caitlin Callahan earned a Bachelor's degree in Spanish from Oregon State University, where they attended from 2005 to 2009. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have obtained certifications in CPR & AED from EMS Safety Services in August 2020 and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention from the Crisis Prevention Institute in October 2019.
