Dominik Wermus

Dominik Wermus is a Senior Professional Staff member at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, involved in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning projects since February 2021. Wermus also serves as a Submarine Warfare Officer in the US Navy Reserve and has held various key roles, including Project Manager for AI/ML initiatives with the Office of the Secretary of Defense and Operations Officer for Special Operations Joint Task Force - Afghanistan. Previous experience includes project management for the National Nuclear Security Administration and systems engineering for the Naval Sea Systems Command. Wermus holds a Master of Science in Information Systems from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Applied Mathematics from the Virginia Military Institute.
