Kirk Spare has extensive work experience in the food service and hospitality industry. Kirk started their career as a Food Safety Consultant/Auditor at Sherwin Food Safety in 2004 and worked there until 2010. During this time, they monitored safety and sanitation practices in various restaurant concepts. In 2006, Kirk founded the Spare Consulting Group, where they served as a Principle. In this role, they provided food safety training, advised clients on meal preparation and menu optimization, and designed comprehensive HACCP plans. Kirk also worked as a General Manager at Hill Country Barbecue Market in 2011 and as a Director of Operations at Taylor Gourmet from 2010 to 2011.
