Jan Scicinski

Jan Scicinski is an accomplished Drug Discovery and Development scientist, executive, and problem solver with over 30 years of experience in both start-up and large corporate environments. As the Founder, CEO, and Principal of Janus Pharmaceutical Consulting since November 2017, Scicinski has a proven track record in pharmaceutical product discovery and development. Current roles include Senior Vice President of CMC at Angarus Therapeutics and serving as Founder, President, and CEO of Avicenna Therapeutics, which focuses on developing enhanced NSAIDs. Previous positions held include Chief Scientific Officer at EpicentRx, Vice President of Research and Development at RadioRx, and Director of New Product Opportunity Assessment at DURECT Corporation. Scicinski earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Cambridge and a BSc in Chemistry from Imperial College London.
