Erik Syvertsen

Erik Syvertsen serves as the Chief Legal Officer and Head of Customer Relations and Operations at AngelList since January 2017, while also being a Founding Member of TechOperator and a Charter Member of TechGC. Erik is involved with the Angel Capital Association as part of the Public Policy Advisory Council and acts as a Guest Lecturer in Entrepreneurial Finance at Columbia Business School. Additionally, Erik remains of counsel at Olshan, where a successful Emerging Company Practice was launched and led, advising early-stage technology and growth companies on capital raising and transactional matters. Erik's expertise includes corporate and securities law, demonstrated through multiple speaking engagements and a strong educational background, featuring an MBA from Columbia Business School, a J.D. from Cardozo School of Law, and a B.S. from Saint John's University.
