Jared Nelms

Jared is a Senior Vice President at Angel Oak Capital. He works closely with Angel Oak’s public and alternative product teams, focusing on sales, marketing and portfolio due diligence for the bank, family office, and RIA channels.

Prior to joining Angel Oak, Jared worked at Hewitt EnnisKnupp, now Aon Hewitt Investment Consulting, where he worked closely with institutional clients on their investments and retirement plans.

Jared was designated as a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst in 2017 and is an active CAIA Association member. He holds a B.S. degree in Economics and Investment Finance from the University of South Carolina.
