William Yung, CFA

William Yung, CFA has extensive experience in the investment industry. William is currently the Director of Private Markets & Partner at Angeles Investments, where they have been working since August 2020. Prior to this role, they served as the Associate Director of Private Markets & Partner from August 2018 to August 2020. Before joining Angeles Investments, William worked as a Senior Associate in both the Private Markets and Public Markets divisions at the same company from 2014 to 2017.

Before joining Angeles Investments, William held positions at Cetera Financial Group as a Senior Analyst of Advisory and Brokerage Investment Products from December 2012 to August 2014. Prior to that, they worked at Cetera Advisor Networks LLC as an Advisory Compliance Analyst from June 2010 to December 2012. William also gained experience as a Client Associate at VFG Securities, Inc. in early 2010.

Earlier in their career, William worked at LPL Financial as an Advisory Compliance Analyst from August 2007 to August 2009. Prior to that, they served as an Account Transfers Representative from June 2006 to August 2007.

William Yung, CFA obtained their BA in Economics and Political Science from UC San Diego, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. William then pursued an MBA in Finance at the USC Marshall School of Business from 2009 to 2012. In terms of additional certifications, William obtained their Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute in September 2013. William also obtained the General Securities Principal, Series 24 certification from FINRA in April 2007, the General Securities Representative, Series 7 certification from FINRA in August 2006, and the Uniform Combined State Law Examination, Series 66 certification from FINRA in October 2007.
