Manuela Italia

Manuela Italia has a diverse work experience in the field of information security. Manuela is currently serving as a Co-Founder & board member at ASSOCISO Associazione Nazionale Chief Information Security Officer. Prior to this, they held the position of Chief Information Security Officer at Angelini Industries and Chair CISO Cloud Community at CSA Italy. Manuela has also founded their own company, r00tMi. Earlier in their career, Manuela held various leadership roles at PwC Italy, Telepass, Deloitte Italy, Greece and Malta, and Direct Line. Manuela started their career as a Unix System Administrator at Lombardia Informatica and later worked as an Application Manager at H3G. Manuela has contributed to the development and implementation of information security functions, policies, and procedures in different organizations throughout their career.

Manuela Italia attended Alma Mater Studiorum - Università di Bologna from 2001 to 2002, where they studied information technology. Manuela also pursued Advanced Linux Operating System at Università degli Studi di Milano. In addition to their education, Manuela obtained the Lead Auditor ISO/IEC 27001 certification from IRCA in 2016. Manuela also holds the ITIL® version 3 Foundation certification.
