Michael Bender joined Angelo Gordon in 2005 and is a Managing Director and the Chief Financial Officer for the firm’s performing loan, distressed debt, energy, and multi-strategy investment funds. Prior to joining the firm, Michael was a Senior Manager at BDO Seidman, LLP, and worked with investment companies and broker-dealers. Michael is a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst. In addition, Michael holds a B.B.A. degree from Baruch College.
