Earlier in their career, Veerle worked at Westward Leaning as Head of eCommerce & Marketing, doubling online revenue. Veerle also served as a Digital Marketing Manager at the same company. Veerle has experience as a Product Manager at 1stdibs.com and as a Consultant and Associate at Boston Consulting Group (BCG). Additionally, Veerle co-founded Revite, where they played a key role in developing and promoting the SunStrip product, and worked as a Consultant at Oliver Wyman.

Veerle D. holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Prior to this, they completed a Bachelor and Master of Science (MSci) in Physics with Theoretical Physics from Imperial College London.
