Matthew Brande has a diverse work experience in the medical device and research fields. Matthew started their career at Pulmatrix Inc. in 2004 as a Junior Engineer and progressed to roles including Research Associate, Scientist I, and Scientist II in the areas of device development and aerosol. In 2013, they joined AngioDynamics as a Design Assurance Engineer and subsequently held positions as a Senior Design Assurance Engineer and Principal Design Assurance Engineer.

Matthew Brande attended Boston University from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biomedical Engineering. Matthew then pursued further education at North Carolina State University, although the exact start and end dates are unknown. At North Carolina State University, they obtained a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering.
