Horalia Mora

Horalia Mora has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Horalia began their career as an Accounts Receivable Clerk at Diagnostic Clinic of Houston in 2006, where they implemented new collection policies and procedures and managed patient accounts. After that, they worked as a Branch Intern at Scottrade for a brief period in 2011.

Horalia then joined Genesis Community Management as an Accounting Assistant in 2011, where they maintained the general ledger, prepared journal entries, and assisted with month-end reconciliations. Horalia also verified and processed high volume accounts payable and payroll documents for multiple properties.

In 2014, Horalia became a Staff Accountant at HII Technologies, Inc. Here, they supported upper management in the month-end close process by preparing journal entries and reconciliations. Horalia also managed fixed asset additions, transfers, and retirements.

Moving forward, they became a Staff Accountant at BOA Marine Services in 2015, where they performed accounts analysis and reconciliations. Horalia also reviewed standard and actual costs and processed accounts payable.

In 2016, Horalia took on the role of Accounting Manager at BEST PROMOTIONS U.S.A., LLC, where they prepared financial statements and implemented new accounting procedures. Horalia also provided training and guidance to the accounting department.

Horalia then worked as a Senior Accountant at Coinmint, LLC in 2019, consulting with the VP of Finance on general ledger transactions involving cryptocurrency mining. Horalia also performed bank reconciliations and collaborated with new accounting department employees during the month-end close.

After that, Horalia joined Solmax in 2019 as an Accountant, conducting month-end close activities, performing cash reconciliations, and processing accounts payable.

In 2021, they became a Senior Accountant at Mindstrong, where they owned various aspects of the month-end close process and provided insights into monthly financial results. Horalia also assisted in implementing internal controls and accounting procedures.

Most recently, Horalia joined Angle Health in 2023 as a Sr. Accountant.

Throughout their work experience, Horalia has demonstrated their expertise in financial analysis, accounting procedures, and compliance with GAAP.

Horalia Mora obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting from the University of Houston, C.T. Bauer College of Business. This educational achievement took place from 2009 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, Horalia Mora has also obtained various certifications. Horalia obtained the "Combating Medicare Parts C & D Fraud, Waste, & Abuse" certification from Mindstrong in October 2022. In January 2022, Horalia Mora acquired the "Cost Accounting: Analyzing Product Profitability" certification from LinkedIn. Further, they received the "Accounting Foundations: Internal Controls" certification from LinkedIn in December 2021. Additionally, in August 2021, Horalia Mora obtained the "HIPPA for Hybrid Entities 2021" certification from Mindstrong.
