Clinton Plaatjies

Clinton Plaatjies is a dedicated Recovery Practitioner currently working with Anglicare Southern Queensland, focusing on the Queensland Drug and Alcohol Court since January 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Case Manager for Housing and Bail Support at Inspire Youth and Family Services, and as a Transition Officer at the Department of Children, Youth Justice and Multicultural Affairs. Clinton's career also features roles such as Restorative Justice Convenor with the Queensland Government and Team Leader at Teen Challenge Queensland, where management of a crisis accommodation center occurred. With a foundational background as a Youth Worker at New Hope House, Clinton's early experience includes various youth-focused roles in South Africa. Educational qualifications encompass a Dual Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice and Human Services from Griffith University, alongside multiple certificates and diplomas in areas such as Youth Work and Social Housing.
