Paul McDonald

Paul McDonald has extensive experience in the field of child and family welfare, currently serving as CEO of Anglicare Victoria since 2010, where responsibilities include overseeing a range of services for children, youth, and families. In addition to this role, Paul McDonald is the President of the Centre for Excellence in Child and Family Welfare, advocating for policy issues related to child welfare, and serves as Chair of Home Stretch, a national movement aimed at extending care for young people in out-of-home care until the age of 21. Previous positions include Executive Director of Children, Youth and Families at the Department of Human Services, where Paul McDonald led Victoria's Child Protection System, and inaugural CEO of the Youth Substance Abuse Service. Paul McDonald holds a Master's degree in Social Work specializing in Human Services Management from La Trobe University.
