Ben Peters

Ben Peters is an experienced legal professional specializing in competition law and compliance. Currently serving as the Legal Principal for Competition & Compliance at Anglo American plc since March 2013, Ben leads competition law efforts across the Anglo American Group. Prior roles include Senior Counsel for Competition & Compliance at De Beers from February 2005 to March 2013, and a position as Counsel at Addleshaw Goddard from October 2001 to January 2005, where Ben worked in the EU, Competition & Trade Department. A former Competition Policy Adviser at Ofcom and a trainee solicitor at SJ Berwin, Ben possesses a robust educational background with qualifications from esteemed institutions, including a Postgraduate Diploma in EC Competition Law from King's College London and a law degree from the University of Bristol. Additional management training was completed at London Business School in 2008.
