George Garcia Pinho Aires

George Garcia Pinho Aires is an experienced mining professional with extensive expertise in operational management and process improvement. Currently serving as a Técnico Especializado Operação de Mina at Anglo American since March 2014, George oversees large-scale earthworks contracts, develops Lean Six Sigma projects, and integrates BI tools with production management systems. Previous roles include working at Orica as a Técnico em Desmonte, where George contributed to continuous improvement projects and technical reporting, and at Votorantim Cimentos S/A, where George held various positions culminating in Chefe de Produção, responsible for supervising production teams and planning mining activities. George holds a Técnico em Mineração degree from Senai - Nova Lima, obtained between 2007 and 2008.
