Ian Tyler is an Independent Non-executive Director at Anglo American. Ian has also served as an internal strategy consultant to multiple divisions at the National Football League (NFL) and Anheuser-Busch. Ian has also worked in bond trading and private equity.
Tyler began their career in bond trading at Brean Capital, LLC. Ian then transitioned to private equity at Blackford Capital. In 2016, they took on the role of Growth Strategy & Marketing at Anheuser-Busch. In this position, they built a business case for increased investment in the college football market and firm’s go-to-market strategy therein. Ian also developed A-B’s inward-facing national college football marketing strategy & tools; distributed to all 500+ wholesalers nationally.
In 2017, Tyler joined the NFL as a Business Development consultant. In this role, they performed due diligence on selling one of our subsidiaries to be acquired by a 3rd party operator. Ian also compiled a quantitative research analysis presentation on participation in five key states with subsequent strategy based on past data, modeled future projections, and qualitative market research.
Ian Tyler went to Columbia University in the City of New York for their undergraduate degree. After graduation, they got a certification from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business in Business Strategy Specialization. Ian also has a certification from Scrum.org in Professional Scrum Master Certification. Lastly, they have a certification from The Wharton School in Business and Financial Modeling.
