Jennifer Paradis

Jennifer Paradis has extensive work experience in the mining industry. Jennifer is currently working at AngloGold Ashanti as the VP of Operational Technology. Prior to this, they worked at Newmont Corporation in various roles including Group Executive - Resource Modeling, Regional Manager Underground Resource Modeling in North America, Global Lead - Smart Mine, Technical Specialist in Stochastic Planning, and Senior Resource Geologist. Jennifer also has experience at Andes Mining Services as a Consulting Geologist, Fortescue Metals Group as a Senior Resource Geologist - Exploration, Gold Fields Ltd. as an Underground Project Geologist, Newmont Corporation as a Resource Evaluation Geologist and Open Pit/Underground Production Geologist, IMC Consultants Pty Ltd as an Exploration Geologist, and Shell as a Geology Summer Intern. Jennifer also worked as a Research Assistant at the University of New Brunswick. Throughout their career, Jennifer has demonstrated strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to navigate through organizational changes.

Jennifer Paradis obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with first-class honours in Geology from the University of New Brunswick in the years 2002 to 2005. In 2017, they attained a Citation in Applied Geostatistics from the University of Alberta. Furthermore, they received a Graduate Certificate in Mineral and Energy Economics from Curtin University between 2015 and 2016. Currently, Jennifer is pursuing an Executive MBA at the Quantic School of Business and Technology, expected to be completed in 2023.
