Deepa Mamtani has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the fields of data analytics, artificial intelligence, and project management. Deepa currently serves as the Head of Group Data & Analytics/AI at AniCura since 2023. Prior to that, they held multiple positions at Sogeti, including AI Advisor, Artificial Intelligence Lead Advisor, and Artificial Intelligence Specialist, where they led teams responsible for building and delivering AI solutions and acted as the Subject Matter Expert for AI within the company. Deepa also worked as a Project Lead at various organizations, including a client, a public transport company, and a US professional services company. Deepa has additional experience as a Lead Data Scientist at the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, a Senior AI Test Engineer Team Lead, and a Data Scientist at KLM, where they assisted a development team in their AI transformation journey. Deepa also worked as an AI Subject Matter Expert at the Oxford Artificial Intelligence Programme. Earlier in their career, they were a Manager and Chief of Staff for Africa Operations at Deloitte, an Industry Insights Consultant at Deloitte, and a Project Manager at Anandpur Builders & Developers. Deepa completed their MBA and MSc in Economics and Management from the UCT Graduate School of Business and the Kellogg School of Management, respectively.

Deepa Mamtani has a diverse educational background. Deepa obtained a Master of Science degree in Business Analytics and Big Data from IE Business School in 2017. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Graduate School of Business - University of Cape Town in 2012.

In terms of undergraduate education, Deepa Mamtani received a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom Rationum) degree from the University of Port Elizabeth in 2007. Their triple major in this program included Accounting, Economics, and Business Management.

In addition to their formal education, Deepa Mamtani has pursued additional certifications to expand their skills and knowledge.
