Tom Mauch

Tom Mauch is an experienced legal professional specializing in intellectual property (IP) with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Senior IP Counsel at Anika since August 2021, Mauch supports research and development as well as marketing teams. Previously, Mauch held the position of Vice President and Global Head of Intellectual Property at ConvaTec, where a global IP strategy was developed and implemented. Other notable roles include Vice President and Associate General Counsel at FARO Technologies, where Mauch managed various legal matters and established a successful patent management system, and Senior Intellectual Property Attorney at Biomet, overseeing significant portions of the company's patent portfolio. Additionally, Mauch has experience as an adjunct professor in Patent Law at the University of Notre Dame and began a career in engineering at Borg Warner Automotive. Mauch holds a JD from Notre Dame Law School and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Wayne State University.
