Segun Ige

Segun Ige has had a diverse range of work experiences throughout their career. Segun is the Founder, President, and CEO of Anike Foundation Inc, where they oversee a team of 70+ volunteers that work to empower African youths through education. Segun also collaborates with over 200 partner organizations in 20 African countries to provide educational supplies to those in need.

In addition, Segun has served as the Director of Ascent Business Services, LLC, where they provide program management, quality control, and analytical tools to engineering businesses. Segun assists organizations in developing verification and validation protocols for ISO/FDA certification. Segun also works on developing novel superconductor concepts using cost-effective materials.

Segun has also held positions such as Director of Magnet Engineering at Mevion Medical Systems, Program Manager at American Superconductor, and Senior Technical Staff Member at American Superconductor. In these roles, they have led teams, managed design projects, conducted testing programs, and written technical specifications.

Furthermore, Segun has worked as a Mechanical Engineer at GE Healthcare, where they provided expert leadership in the mechanical design, analysis, and testing of commercial products. Segun played a key role in manufacturing the first cryogen-free superconductor MRI magnet and the first open-architecture magnetic resonance therapy magnet.
