Allison Cleymaet, DVM, PhD, DACVO, is a skilled veterinary ophthalmologist with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving at Animal Eye Care since May 2022, Cleymaet previously worked as a veterinary ophthalmologist at VRCC Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Hospital from August 2020 to April 2022. Additional experience includes a locum tenens position as clinical faculty in ophthalmology at Colorado State University and a residency in veterinary ophthalmology at the same institution. Cleymaet's academic background includes a PhD in clinical sciences with a focus on retinal neuroscience from Colorado State University and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of California, Davis. Cleymaet also holds a Bachelor of Arts in integrative biology from the University of California, Berkeley.
