Elisa Rhodes

Elisa Rhodes is a Veterinary Technician at the Animal Rescue League of Iowa, Inc., with a background that includes experience as a Plant Genetic Research Aide at the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agricultural Research Service from October 2019 to April 2021, where improvements to the genetics of diverse crop germplasms were made, and pollination, germination rate, viability, and seed production on vegetable species were measured. Prior to that, Elisa served as a Play Facilitator at Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium during the summer of 2019, guiding and educating a large number of elementary children and guests through interactive exhibits. Elisa holds a Bachelor's degree in Animal Sciences from Iowa State University, earned in May 2022.
