Gill Maltby has a diverse range of work experiences in the nonprofit sector. From 1996 to 2000, they worked as a Project Coordinator at The Groundwork Trust. Gill then joined Wildfutures in 2002 as a Fundraising Manager, where they were responsible for increasing the organization's income generation and promoting their conservation work. In 2010, they transitioned to Animals Asia, serving as the Fundraising Project Manager before becoming the UK Director. As the UK Director, they managed a team of 11 and successfully raised over £1.4 million. In 2015, they took on the role of Major Donor Programmes Manager, overseeing the delivery of major donor programs and building lasting relationships with supporters. In 2020, they became the Global Director of Campaign Development at Animals Asia. Most recently, they have become the Global Director of Partnerships, further expanding their role within the organization.
Gill Maltby MCIOF(Dip) completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Environmental Management and Technology from the University of Sunderland, from 1991 to 1996. Additionally, Gill obtained a Diploma in Fundraising from the Institute of Fundraising. No specific dates or field of study were provided for the diploma.
