Spencer Banks

Spencer Banks is a skilled Character Artist and 3D Generalist at Animax Designs, Inc. since June 2022, specializing in figure animation and character rigging for animatronics, with noteworthy projects including animatronic figures for Universal Studios Epic Universe. Previously, Spencer spent over seven years at Walt Disney Imagineering in various roles, culminating as a Show Programmer, where responsibilities included creating previz media for theme park attractions and programming ride vehicle animations for prominent Disney experiences like Star Wars Rise of the Resistance. An engineering background was established through a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California, complemented by early experience as an intern at Volt Boats, LLC.
