Kunmi Sobowale

Kunmi Sobowale is currently an Assistant Professor of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at UCLA Health and serves as a Clinical Advisor for both Anise Health and Little Otter. Sobowale is also an NIH AIM-AHEAD Research Fellow, focusing on improving the fairness of clinical prediction models for marginalized populations through AI and ML techniques. Previous experience includes consulting for the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and completing fellowships in Infant Mental Health at UC Davis and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at UCLA. Sobowale's medical training includes residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital and a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Chicago. Educational background features a Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Neuroscience from Yale University and studies at the Stanford Inter-University Center for Japanese Language Studies.
