Karen Gardner is currently a Senior Policy Associate at the Center for Science in the Public Interest. Prior to this role, Karen served as the Pennsylvania Manager at the National Young Farmers Coalition, where Karen managed regional teams, directed organizing and policy work, and collaborated on policy engagement sessions. Karen also has experience as a Food Policy Research Analyst at New York University, a Community Wellness Advocate at Second Harvest Food Bank of Greater New Orleans and Acadiana, and a Post-graduate Fellow at Bard College. Karen holds a Master's degree in Food Studies from New York University and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Bard College.
