Evelyn Lin

UI/Graphic Designer at Anivive

Evelyn Lin has a diverse range of work experience in the design field. Evelyn started their career in 2011 as a Brand Designer at LKK Design Co., where they collaborated with industrial designers on product design and assisted the creative director with team management. Evelyn then worked at Black Ant Design Agency as a Brand Strategist/Account Executive, leading brand strategy and presentation deck design for clients. At Bingo Studio, they served as the Lead Brand Designer, managing a design team and working on brand strategy and design services for various clients.

In 2018, Evelyn worked as a Teaching Assistant at the California Institute of the Arts, collaborating on visual design for the Winter Institute Motion Graphics Program. Evelyn then joined Walt Disney Imagineering in 2019 as a Designer in the WDI CalArts Educational Initiative. In this role, they participated in the Blue Sky Idea Development process, developing an experience project from initial idea to final presentation. Evelyn also pitched the project to Walt Disney executives and received positive feedback.

Currently, Evelyn is working at Anivive as a UI/Graphic Designer. Evelyn has created and improved the company's brand visual identity system, as well as collaborated with the product manager and engineering team on designing visuals for AniviveTrial and AniviveInsider products.

Throughout their career, Evelyn has demonstrated their skills in visual design, brand strategy, team management, and client communication.

Evelyn Lin pursued their education in a chronological manner. Evelyn started their academic journey by attending Sichuan University from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Graphic Design. Following their undergraduate studies, they enrolled in the Communication University of China and completed a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Advertising Design from 2008 to 2010. Later, they decided to further enhance their graphic design skills and pursued a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Graphic Design at the California Institute of the Arts, which they completed from 2017 to 2019.
