Marco Guarrera

Marco Guarrera's work experience begins with their current position as a Research Associate in Downstream Process Development at Anjarium Biosciences since July 2022. Prior to this, they completed their Master's degree thesis as an intern at Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz FHNW from October 2020 to July 2021. During this internship, they gained skills in cloning, plasmid construction, recombinant protein expression, protein purification, and performing enzymatic activity assays. Marco's first work experience was as an intern in the Food microbiology area at Istituto Zooprofilatico Sperimentale della Sicilia from April 2018 to June 2018. During this internship, they acquired knowledge in sample treatment, microorganism extraction, and qualitative and quantitative analysis of food pathogens.

Marco Guarrera completed their Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the Università degli Studi di Palermo in 2019. Afterwards, they pursued a Master's degree in Biotechnology for Industry and Scientific Research. Marco successfully completed their Master's program in 2022 from the same university.
