Katy Dettman

Katy Dettman, CPA, has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Katy is currently serving as a Managing Director in the Office of the CFO at Ankura since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Plante Moran from 2015 to 2022 as a Principal in Risk and Accounting Advisory Services. Katy'sresponsibilities there included providing support services to clients in finance and accounting functions, serving in interim accounting leadership roles, leading financial close and reporting processes, managing reconciliations, and producing various financial reports.

Before joining Plante Moran, Katy worked at CHAN HEALTHCARE as an Audit and Consulting Director from 2010 to 2015. Katy also held the position of Finance Manager at Fairview Health Services from 2009 to 2010. Previous experiences include working as a Transaction Advisory Services Manager at Grant Thornton from 2008 to 2009 and as a Transaction Advisory Services Senior at KPMG from 2007 to 2008.

Katy began their career in 2001 as a tax intern at Deloitte, followed by roles as an Audit Senior at KPMG from 2003 to 2006 and as the Director of Financial Reporting at Children's Mercy Hospital from 2006 to 2007.

Throughout their career, Katy has demonstrated expertise in finance and accounting, risk and advisory services, financial reporting, and auditing.

Katy Dettman, CPA holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Iowa State University, which they obtained between 1998 and 2002. Katy also pursued a Masters degree in Accounting at Iowa State University from 2002 to 2003. In addition to their educational background, Katy obtained their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification in 2004.
