Jose Figueroa

Jose Figueroa serves as the entrepreneurial marketing communications specialist and account manager at the SPARK East Innovation Center in Ypsilanti. Jose draws on experience in the U.S. and Latin America to provide SPARK East clients with strategy, content, and marketing development and management. Jose also connects SPARK East clients with additional entrepreneurial resources and supports SPARK East operations.

Jose is passionate about supporting innovators from diverse backgrounds and fostering the next generation of entrepreneurs. Before joining SPARK, Jose provided marketing, entrepreneurship, and early-stage business development consulting and education to community members and K-12, undergraduate, and graduate students in the U.S.-Mexico border region.

Jose holds a Master of Business Administration from New Mexico State University.
