Omar Rivera Ortiz

Omar Rivera Ortiz has a diverse work experience in the field of application development and system development. Omar has worked in various companies, starting from their current position at Annalect as an Application Developer since 2019. Prior to that, they worked at MediGold as a Senior System Developer from August 2017 to January 2019, where they were responsible for designing, developing, modifying, and testing websites using the .NET stack. Before that, they worked at OhioHealth Group as a Senior Application Systems Developer from March 2015 to August 2017, where they had similar responsibilities of designing, developing, and testing websites and APIs using the .NET stack. Omar also worked at GFR Media as a Senior Programmer from 2013 to 2015, where they focused on designing, developing, and testing software applications, as well as providing support for OnBase and SmartStream systems. Prior to that, they worked at IMIS as a Technical Support Specialist from June 2010 to April 2013, where their responsibilities included designing, developing, and testing VB .NET applications and providing hardware and application support. Lastly, they worked at Soluwise as a Software Developer from October 2007 to June 2010, where they provided web development services for mobile devices and developed and deployed multiple SMS applications.

Omar Rivera Ortiz completed their Master's Degree in Computer Science from the Universidad Politécnica de Puerto Rico, from the year 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they attended the Universidad de Puerto Rico for their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, which they completed from 2002 to 2006. In addition to their academic qualifications, they also obtained a certification in CompTIA A+ from CompTIA in December 2010.
