Ben Freese

Ben Freese has a substantial background in correspondent lending, with experience in various roles and companies. Ben started their career in 1997 at HSBC as a Regional Manager in correspondent lending, where they stayed until 2007. From 2008 to 2014, they worked at Mortgage Services III, LLC as a Business Development professional in correspondent lending. Ben then moved to Mr. Cooper, where they held a correspondent lending position from 2016 to 2019. Following that, they joined Angel Oak Mortgage Solutions as a VP in correspondent lending for a year. Ben'smost recent role was at First Federal Bank, where they worked in correspondent lending from 2020 to 2022. Finally, in 2022, they joined Annaly Capital Management as a VP in Residential Credit- Correspondent Lending.

Ben Freese earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1993 to 1997. Ben also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Business from the University of Illinois at Urbana within the same time period.
