Kristina Elsaesser Ms

Kristina Elsaesser, MS, RD, CSSD, CNSC, LDN, currently holds the position of Director of Nutrition and Food Services for the State of Maryland, managing an annual budget of $9.2 million since March 2023. Concurrently, Kristina serves as a College Nutrition Instructor at Anne Arundel Community College, teaching the state's only ANFP-approved program for Certified Dietary Managers. With extensive experience as Director of Dietetics and Performance Nutrition at the United States Naval Academy, Kristina oversees nutrition services for all NCAA D1 sports teams, providing expertise in sports nutrition and performance. Additionally, Kristina offers corporate sports dietitian consulting for multiple organizations, while previous roles include Clinical Nutrition Manager at Children's National Hospital and Supervisory Dietitian at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Kristina holds a B.S. and a Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics from Arizona State University.
