Rachel Neumoyer

Nurse Practitioner at Anne Arundel Dermatology

After graduating from Clemson University in 2001 with a bachelor’s of science degree in nursing, Rachel started her career as an RN in medical-surgical nursing in her hometown of Annapolis. In 2003 she took a position at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD as a nurse in dermatology. At NIH she was involved with coordinating care of patients on clinical trials. She supported the National Cancer Institute and managed an outpatient cancer clinic and dermatology consultation service. After 4 years at NIH, she attended the University of Maryland and received a Master’s Degree in Nursing, completing her Family Nurse Practitioner training. Rachel is a board-certified nurse practitioner through the American Nurse Credentialing Center and is licensed in the states of Maryland, Pennsylvania and Delaware.

Rachel worked over 10 years as nurse practitioner in private dermatology practice prior to joining Anne Arundel Dermatology. She diagnoses and treats many skin conditions including acne, eczema, warts, psoriasis, rosacea and skin cancer. She also performs comprehensive skin exams and minor surgery. Her focus is on patient education and skin cancer prevention.

She has been an active member of the Dermatology Nursing Association, where she has spoken at national conferences and presented educational posters. She is a member of the Dermatology Nurse Practitioner Society and Southern Chester County, Pennsylvania Coalition of Nurse Practitioners. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and sons. Her hobbies include gardening, traveling and working out.
