Sergio Rodrigues

Sergio Rodrigues has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Sergio is currently working as the Commercial Director - Messaging & Identity at Annecto Telecom since September 2022. Prior to this, they were a Commercial Executive at ProcessLabs starting from October 2021.

Before joining ProcessLabs, Sergio held multiple positions at Mr Messaging. Sergio served as the Director Global Connectivity from September 2021 to September 2022. Prior to that, they were the Head of Carrier Relations from February 2021 to September 2021.

Sergio also has experience working at JT Group Limited. Sergio held the role of Global Connectivity & Carrier Partnerships from May 2020 to February 2021. Before that, they were the Trading Manager - International BU from January 2020 to May 2020, where they were responsible for the sourcing and trading strategy for the Messaging & Routing business unit.

Sergio's earlier experience includes roles at Jennic Engineering as a Business Development Consultant from March 2014 to June 2015, at EarthStream as a Delivery Consultant from November 2013 to March 2014, and at Mindpearl as a Senior Customer Service Representative from July 2012 to October 2013.

Sergio Rodrigues began their education in 2011 at Stellenbosch University, where they studied Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Investment Management, focusing on Investments and Securities. Sergio attended this university until 2012. In 2012, Sergio transferred to the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika and pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Financial Management. During this time, their field of study was mainly focused on Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law. Sergio completed their degree in 2015. In the same year, they furthered their education by acquiring a Certificate in financial trading from the Academy of Financial Trading. Additionally, they received training in Financial Risk Management through Speccon Online, specializing in Risk Analysis.
