Brian Gerardo

Brian Gerardo is a senior associate specializing in learning and capacity building at the Annie E. Casey Foundation since April 2022. Previously, Brian held the position of Associate Director of Civic Impact at Business Volunteers Maryland, where initiatives fostered connections between corporate partners and nonprofit organizations in Baltimore. Brian's extensive experience includes roles such as adjunct professor in health communication design at Thomas Jefferson University, regional organizing director for a gubernatorial campaign, and founder and executive director of the Baltimore Dance Crews Project, which served over 20,000 students. Brian's educational background includes an MBA and MA in Design Leadership from The Johns Hopkins University and the Maryland Institute College of Art, along with a BA in Public and Urban Affairs and Political Science from Virginia Tech.
