Andreas Lindholm has been working in the field of machine learning since 2013. Andreas began as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Uppsala University, where they also completed their PhD studies in Machine Learning and Monte Carlo methods for learning dynamical systems. Andreas also undertook a Master thesis at UC Santa Barbara investigating periodic and robust invariant sets for MPC-controlled artificial pancreas to diabetes type 1 patients. In 2012, they completed a B.Sc. Thesis in Flexible Industrial Automation at Högskolan Väst. During this time, they also worked as an Adjunct Research Associate at William Sansum Diabetes Center, a Teaching Assistant in Automatic Control and Mathematics at Linköping University, and a Vice President for Finance and National Board Member at the Swedish Federation of Young Scientists. In 2011, they worked as a Control System Engineer at Volvo Aero Corporation. Most recently, in 2020, they began working as a Machine Learning Research Engineer at Kognic.
Andreas Lindholm obtained a Master of Science (Civilingenjörexamen) in Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering - International from Linköping University in 2013. From 2010 to 2011, they participated in an Erasmus Exchange at ETH Zürich in Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering. Andreas also attended Nils Ericsonsgymnasiet from 2005 to 2008, where they studied the Naturvetenskapsprogrammet.
