Jakob Andersson

Vice President of Engineering at Annotell

Jakob Andersson has a varied work experience spanning over a decade. From 2008 to 2011, they worked as a Web Developer for Ericsson. From 2009 to 2010, they were the Speaker of the Council and the Vice Speaker of the Council for the Chalmers Student Union. During the same period, they were also a Board Member for Goteborgs Studenters Foretagsgrupp AB and CHALMERS STUDENTKAR RESTAURANG LINDHOLMEN AB. From 2011 to 2016, they worked for Volvo Car Group in various roles, including Software Architect, Software Project Lead, and Function Developer. In 2016, they joined Berge as a Team Leader AI and Deep Learning Consultant. In 2018, they joined Kognic as Vice President of Engineering, Team Lead Professional Services, and Customer Success. Jakob also became the Chairman of the Gothenburg Artificial Intelligence Alliance. In 2019, they joined Consid AB as a Machine Learning Architect.

Jakob Andersson began their educational journey in 2000, when they attended Elof Lindälvs Gymnasium until 2003. Jakob then went on to study Engineering Physics at Chalmers University of Technology, where they obtained a B.Sc. in 2011. During this time, they also took a course in Business Administration at the University of Gothenburg from 2007 to 2008. Finally, they obtained an M.Sc. in Complex Adaptive Systems from Chalmers University of Technology in 2011. Additionally, Jakob has obtained certifications from Coursera in Practical Machine Learning, R Programming, and Machine Learning.
