Mengxue Nie

Mengxue Nie has a diverse work experience. Mengxue began their career in 2017 as a Project Lead at the Wu Zhi Qiao (Bridge to China) Charitable Foundation, where they were responsible for conducting environmental research and habitat studies, as well as managing livelihood improvement budgets. In 2019, they became a Management Trainee at Shanghai Shimao Co., Ltd., where they were involved in two $50 million property development projects, assisted manager in overseeing urban planning and demolition projects, and provided analysis support to the real estate team through SAP platform. In 2021, Mengxue became a Technical Translator at Northvolt, where they handled translation between suppliers and operators and engineers on the assembly line, provided translation for supplier training, and coordinated the commissioning work of the equipment with the suppliers and engineers. Mengxue also held a Project Manager Internship at BothOfUs, where they assisted senior project managers to keep the process of building a useful product moving smoothly from start to finish, tracked and communicated project status, timelines, budgets, and tests, and promoted UN sustainability development goals. Currently, Mengxue is a Data Delivery Coordinator at Kognic.

Mengxue Nie began their education in 2015, when they attended Sichuan University and obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Landscape Architecture in 2020. In 2018, they attended a summer school at Cardiff University, studying Low-carbon Architecture. In 2020, they earned a Master of Science in Sustainable Destination Development from Uppsala University. Currently, they are pursuing a Professional Certificate in Google UX Design from Coursera.
