Laura Olstad

Laura Olstad has extensive experience in special education and leadership roles. Currently serving as a Special Educ at Anoka-Hennepin School District since August 2017, Laura previously worked as a Special Education Paraprofessional in the same district since June 2013, providing instructional and personal care support. Additionally, Laura is the Andover Dance Team Fall Head Coach, mentoring over fifty young girls and overseeing practice plans and fundraising activities. Laura's background also includes serving as a Sales Director for Homes For Heroes, managing sales for a four-state region, and various positions in marketing and administration, including a Marketing Consultant role at UMD Center for Economic Development and a Marketing Intern at Duluth Children's Museum. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Special Education and Teaching from Bethel University and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
