Buster Townsend

Buster Townsend has a diverse work experience. Buster began their career as an intern at Lucid Software Inc. in 2014, where they worked on marketing and later became a marketing specialist. Buster also worked as the VP of Business Development at ChatAds, where they built strategic partnerships with communication and social networking publishers.

In 2015, Buster joined Cotopaxi - Gear for Good as a software engineer intern. From 2017 to 2018, they worked at Brigham Young University as a macOS app developer.

Buster then worked as a cyber security intern at EY in 2017. Later that year, they returned to Brigham Young University as a macOS app developer.

In 2018, Buster joined Anonyome Labs, Inc. as a software engineer, where they developed frontend features for a privacy-focused iOS app. Buster also integrated frameworks and developed component features using RxSwift. At Anonyome Labs, Inc., they also worked as a senior software engineer, developing a web extension and architecting a site reputation service.

From 2019 to 2020, Buster worked at MasterControl as a software engineer. In this role, they restructured manufacturing's backend to improve stability and flexibility and eliminated frontend defects.

In 2020, Buster returned to Anonyome Labs, Inc. as a software engineer, where they built an ad tracker/blocker and a site reputation service using AWS CDK. Buster also developed password manager SDKs for web and iOS.

Buster Townsend completed their Master of Information System Management degree with a focus on Management Information Systems, General at Brigham Young University Marriott School of Business from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, from 2012 to 2016, they pursued Management Information Systems, General with a minor in Chinese at the same institution. In addition to their academic qualifications, they obtained the AWS Certified Developer - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services in April 2018.
