As a Senior BI Developer, you will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of data solutions leveraging cloud technologies, with a focus on Microsoft Azure. You will play a critical role in supporting data-driven decision-making processes by ensuring the availability, reliability, and efficiency of data pipelines and reporting solutions.

What you’ll do - Key Responsibilities:

SQL Scripting and Development:

• Demonstrate proficiency in SQL scripting and PowerShell scripting.

• Develop complex stored procedures, triggers, and functions to support data processing requirements.

• Create technical documentation to facilitate understanding and maintenance of database solutions.

Report Development:

• Design, develop, implement, support, and maintain reports using Power BI, including the development of Power BI scripts.

• Create interactive visual reports and dashboards in Power BI, leveraging DAX queries and functions.

• Design and maintain SSRS reports and MS SQL Report Builder models.

Data Engineering and ETL Development:

• Implement and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Databricks.

• Extract, transform, and load data from varied source file structures.

• Leverage Azure Data Factory features such as Self-Hosted Integration Runtime and ADF Debugger for data movement, ETL pipelines, and performance tuning.

• Perform complex data transformations on large data volumes.

Data Architecture and Modeling:

• Design logical and physical.

• Develop end-to-end solution designs using Microsoft Azure services, addressing data ingestion, data modeling, and data architecture requirements.

• Design infrastructure leveraging Azure services, estimating hosting costs, and ensuring scalability and reliability.

• Support the delivery of technical deliverables across a range of integration, BI, and analytics services.

What you'll need to succeed:

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with Azure SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and other Azure services.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Expertise in Agile methodologies, including relevant experience working in an Agile team environment.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Azure certifications such as Azure Data Engineer Associate or Azure Administrator Associate are a plus.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong understanding of data architecture principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in designing, developing, and maintaining reports using Power BI and SSRS.
