We are seeking a Sales Director for the WESROC product line with at least seven years of experience to grow its customer base within an assigned territory.

WESROC is a leading global provider of M2M (Machine-To-Machine) solutions specifically for the monitoring of remote fixed and mobile industrial assets. WESROC specializes in robust and reliable hardware, data acquisition, wireless communications and advanced Web based information management services.

Summary

This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing sales team for a fast-growing private equity-held tech industry leader. Supports all customers in their territory, driving new sales and helping existing customers. 50% travel expectation. This is a full-time position. Income is 50% salary and 50% sales commission driven. As a Sales Director, you should be organized and able to analyze performance metrics. We also expect you to have good negotiation skills and the ability to foster long term relationships to achieve our business goals.

Core Responsibilities

  • Set and monitor and achieve all sales targets for the assigned territory
  • Network with key customers to identify and address specific needs
  • Identify and attract prospective strategic customers
  • Ensure brand consistency
  • Negotiate pricing and contracts
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings, according to company standards
  • Travel within the given territory and to tradeshow within the US to meet prospects and customers
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and repeat customers
  • Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts within SalesForce
  • Educate customers on how our solutions can benefit them financially and professionally
  • Sell only the company’s products and services to customers within your given territory
  • Monitor the company’s industry competitors, new products and market conditions to understand a customer’ specific needs
  • Work closely with the WESROC’s marketing, customer service and billing departments to help build our brand
  • Be willing to cold call and prospect new accounts
  • Be able to present our solutions in a professional manner to our customers and prospects

Experience

  • Minimum seven years of experience in outside sales, sales leadership and account management preferably in the Propane or Refined Fuel industries

  • Experience presenting and closing on solutions

  • Experience in the Oil & Gas/Atmospheric Gas or Propane Industry

  • Strong knowledge of SalesForce & Microsoft Office Suites

  • Demonstrated proficiency in solution or process selling

  • Experience and success within a salary + commission compensation environment

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in the Oil & Gas/Atmospheric Gas or Propane Industry

About You:

  • Confident, articulate, and effective communicator with a hands-on, rollup the sleeves attitude to juggle multiple projects and workstreams
  • Valid standard driver license with a clean driving record
  • Able to operate a mobile phone to activate and set up cellular monitors for fuel and lubricant tanks
  • Proficient with simple hand tools (screwdrivers, tape measure, etc.)
  • Able to manage time effectively and efficiently, to travel through a route with many stops
  • Personable with the public, as the role will include end-customer interaction
  • Proficient with computer applications, including Microsoft Office – Excel Basics are a must, Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP, IF, CONCATENATE, etc.) are a plus!
  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
