Brent Klavon has worked for a number of companies since 2019. Brent began their career as the Chief Strategy Officer and Vice President of ANRA Technologies. In 2020, they joined the UTM Working Group of the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Communications. In 2021, they were part of the International Aviation Trust Framework of the International Civil Aviation Organization, the Working Group of Swiss U-Space Implementation, and the Steering Committee UAS Standardization Collaborative (UASSC) of the American National Standards Institute. In 2021, they also joined the UAM Advisory Committee of the Texas Department of Transportation and the Aviation Rulemaking Committee for BVLOS UAS Operations (Alternate) of the Federal Aviation Administration. In 2022, they were part of the AAM Alliance of VIPC | Virginia Innovation Partnership Corporation and the UAM Study Committee of the Legislature of the State of Arizona. Brent is currently a member of the UAM Task Force of CoMotion LAB.
Brent Klavon holds a Bachelor's Degree from Penn State University and has obtained certifications from the Federal Aviation Administration and the US Navy. In 2016, they obtained a Remote Pilot sUAS Rating from the Federal Aviation Administration, followed by a Commercial Pilot, Instrument, Multi- and Single-Engine Land certification in 2015. Brent also obtained a Multi-engine pilot certification from the US Navy in 1988. Additionally, they have completed courses from FEMA, including IS 100, IS 200, IS 700, and IS 800, as well as the State of Florida EOC.
