Ashley Gill has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Ashley is currently serving as the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at Textile Exchange since June 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as the Standards and Stakeholder Engagement, Sr. Director, Director of Standards, Senior Manager of Industry Integrity, and Integrity Specialist at Textile Exchange from 2019 to 2021. Ashley began their career at Textile Exchange as a Communications Specialist in 2012 and later served as an Administrative Assistant from 2010 to 2012.
Before joining Textile Exchange, Ashley worked in the Peace Corps as a Regional Representative on the Agroforestry Steering Committee from 2009 to 2010. In this role, they supported volunteer training sessions and acted as a liaison between volunteers and the Peace Corps administration. Prior to that, they worked as an Agroforestry Volunteer in a rural area of northern Cameroon from 2008 to 2010, where they created a network for future volunteers and supported community groups in identifying local solutions using agroforestry techniques.
