Rory Gass

Rory Gass has extensive work experience in product management and technology roles. Most recently, they served as the VP Product at Ansarada starting in September 2021. Prior to that, Rory held the role of Product Director (Growth) at Ansarada from July 2021 to September 2021.

Before joining Ansarada, Rory worked at WooliesX from 2018 to 2021. During their time at WooliesX, Rory held the positions of Lead Product Manager and Senior Product Manager. They successfully launched various projects, including the Woolworths at Work eCommerce platform and the Delivery Unlimited subscription proposition.

Earlier in Rory's career, they worked at ING DIRECT Australia as a Product Owner from April 2017 to January 2018 and at Telstra as a Product Owner from June 2011 to January 2017. They also had brief roles at Tanaoba Lais Manekat, Uber Consult, Leader Group Pty Ltd., The Government of Western Australia, and Sanford Securities, where they gained experience in technology management, programming, and software engineering.

Rory Gass's education history begins in 1998 when they enrolled in Curtin University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on Information Systems. Rory completed their studies in 2002.

In 2020, they attended Reforge for a short period to study Product Strategy, although it is not specified if they obtained a degree.

In terms of additional certifications, Rory obtained several qualifications. In 2006, they acquired a Graduate Diploma of Project Management (PMBoK) from Leader Group Pty. Ltd. Additionally, in 2014, they received the SAFe Fundamentals certification from Scaled Agile, Inc.

In 2015, Rory obtained the SAFe Agile Iteration Management / Project Management certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. Later on, in 2017, they became a Certified SCRUM Product Owner through Scrum Alliance.

More recently, Rory obtained the Product Strategy certification from Reforge in October 2020. In May 2022, they acquired the Experimentation & Testing certification from the same institution.
