Shekhar Kirani

Shekhar Kirani is a seasoned investor and partner in early-stage investments, primarily focusing on SaaS companies in India. Since January 2011, Shekhar has held the position of Partner at Accel, leading investments in innovative technology ventures. Shekhar is also a Venture Partner at Freshworks, having contributed from the seed stage, and serves as a Series A Investor in BrowserStack and Carestack. Additional investments include early-stage commitments in notable companies such as FalconX, ChargeBee, Zenoti.com, and ansr.com. Academically, Shekhar holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota and advanced degrees from the Indian Institute of Science and the University of Mysore.
