Research Scientist at Ansun Biopharma

Trevor Vernon Gale, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in the field of biotechnology. From 2009 to 2010, they were a Research Technician at Scripps Research, where they were a recipient of the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine "Bridges to Stem Cell" Fellowship. From 2012 to 2016, they were a Graduate Researcher at Tulane University School of Medicine. After that, they were a Postdoctoral Fellow at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, where they gained GLP-like training in Biosafety Level 4 containment for the application of preclinical immunotherapeutic, therapeutic, and vaccine studies with highly pathogenic RNA viruses including Ebola and Lassa. In 2017, they founded Viralchemy, a research-based biotechnology company, and since 2018 they have been a Research Scientist at Ansun Biopharma, Inc., where they are responsible for establishing virological assays to support late stage clinical development of antiviral therapies and internal research and development projects.

Trevor Vernon Gale, Ph.D. completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas in 2009. Trevor Vernon then went on to obtain their Master of Science (MS) in Microbiology and Immunology from San Diego State University in 2012. Finally, they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomedical Sciences, Microbiology & Immunology from Tulane University School of Medicine in 2016.
